We’re excited to welcome a Level II Dental Assistant to our friendly dental practice in Etobicoke/Toronto. This is a key role on our team, and we’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys patient care, takes pride in their work, and thrives in a collaborative environment. If you’re detail-oriented, patient-focused, and confident providing both clinical and chairside support, we’d love to meet you.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical & Chairside Support
- Support the dentist during a variety of procedures, including restorative, surgical, and preventive treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure smooth setup and breakdown throughout the day
- Assist with suctioning, instrument transfer, and patient positioning
- Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Take impressions, pours, and fabricate temporary restorations (as permitted)
- Perform intraoral and extraoral duties within the Level II scope of practice
Patient Care & Communication
- Greet patients warmly and help them feel comfortable and prepared for treatment
- Provide clear post-operative and oral hygiene instructions
- Address patient questions and concerns with professionalism and care
Administrative & Team Support
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and charts
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
- Work closely with dentists, hygienists, and front desk staff to keep daily operations running smoothly
Qualifications
- Certified Level II Dental Assistant with current registration in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited dental assisting program
- CPR certification (required)
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
