About the Position

AAA Canada is looking for a Project Manager – Project Competency Center to support one of its major partners in the aerospace industry. In this role, you will contribute to the development, standardization, and continuous improvement of project management practices. You will play a key role in coordinating improvement initiatives, supporting teams, and implementing methodologies and tools that promote operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and monitor the scope of improvement projects established by the Project Competency Center (CoC).
- Coordinate and oversee project management Quality Gates, ensuring compliance with established processes and standards.
- Organize and support internal events, including webinars and workshops, to engage teams and promote CoC initiatives.
- Develop support materials, including guidelines, communications, and training resources, to facilitate the adoption of new practices.
- Plan, organize, and coordinate project management training sessions delivered by the CoC.
- Collaborate closely with project management business partners and conduct benchmarking analyses of different project management methodologies and practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the standardization of project management processes.
- Support effective decision-making based on operational requirements and escalate issues when necessary.





Required Qualifications

- University degree in a technical or business-related field, business administration, or project management.
- Hands-on experience in project and/or program management.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) is considered an asset.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Strong ability to build positive professional relationships and develop an internal network of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational skills, autonomy, and a collaborative mindset.
- Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Google Workspace.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English is required, both written and spoken.
