We're looking for an experienced CPA to work directly with our clients as their go-to accounting advisor. You'll act as a part-time controller, fractional CFO, and senior accounting partner, while also serving as the technical backbone for our bookkeeping team.
This is a primarily remote, adaptable engagement of about 30 hours per month. We're looking for someone based in or near Calgary who can meet clients in person and attend occasional business activities.

- Support clients through CRA correspondence, reviews, and audits, including preparing responses and supporting documentation.

for owner-managers and other clients, as assigned.

- Review payroll and information-return compliance (T4, T5, T5018 and related slips) and advise on corrections where needed.
- Monitor filing deadlines and instalment requirements to help clients avoid penalties and interest.

- Review bookkeeping work, identify discrepancies, and give clear, constructive guidance on corrections and adjustments.
- Help bookkeepers understand the "why" behind accounting treatments so they can build skills and confidence.
- Contribute to review checklists, month-end and year-end procedures, and quality-control practices that keep service consistent across all clients.
