We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools for cleaning tasks as required.
- Conduct heavy lifting when necessary to move furniture or equipment during the cleaning process.
- Carry out commercial cleaning tasks in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
- Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs promptly.
- Manage time effectively to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed within designated timeframes.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or requests from facility occupants professionally.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding cleaning schedules and any issues encountered during shifts.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with cleaning duties.
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in cleaning and maintenance is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and safety standards within facilities.
