We are currently hiring compassionate and dependable individuals to join our team as Companions, providing non-medical support to seniors in their homes and within the community. This role focuses on enhancing quality of life through meaningful interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide friendly companionship and conversation

- Accompany clients on walks, outings, and appointments

- Assist with light household tasks (meal prep, tidying, laundry)

- Support with errands such as grocery shopping

- Encourage engagement in hobbies and social activities

- Ensure clients feel safe, comfortable, and respected at all times

What This Role Is NOT:

- This is a strictly non-medical position

Qualifications:

- Health Care Aide (HCA) or Recreation Assistant certificate

- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle

- Current First Aid certification

- Valid Food Secure certification

- Caring, patient, and reliable personality

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Experience in senio and dementia care

- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred

- Ability to work independently while following care plans and instructions

Pay: $26.00-$29.00 per hour
