SAF-HOLLAND Canada Limited is a leading international manufacturer and supplier of premium product systems and components for the global commercial vehicle industry. The product range includes axle and suspension systems, fifth wheels, couplers, kingpins, landing gear legs, air brake adjusters, valves, ABS, actuators and trailer CPU’s.

We are seeking to fill a current vacancy for the following full time salaried position at our Woodstock facility:

Continuous Improvement Coordinator

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will lead the facility’s lean and continuous improvement efforts by teaching the SAF-HOLLAND Production System philosophy and tools while monitoring improvement progress. You will serve as an organizational resource for basic lean tools, develop and deliver training materials, schedule and facilitate kaizen events, and lead the plant Value Streams Team during new product introductions. Additionally, you will drive process and product standardization, follow up on action plans, support the Quality Map, and serve as the local expert on plant Key Performance Indicators.

In addition, you will spend time on the shop floor motivating, mentoring, and coaching employees on continuous improvement concepts and encouraging the submission of improvement ideas. You will partner with management and supervisors to implement visual management, lead continuous improvement review meetings, resolve immediate process issues using lean tools,



and identify best practices from other businesses that align with the SAF-HOLLAND Production System.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university with 3 to 5 years of related experience/training (or an equivalent combination of education and experience) and proven experience implementing lean initiatives in a manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and previous experience using WMS systems (specifically SAP) would be a significant asset
