Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook/Kitchen Assistant to join our team. This role involves supporting food preparation, cooking, and food service operations in a fast-paced environment. Duties

- Assist in preparing and cooking meals according to established recipes and standards
- Support food handling and safety procedures to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Serve food efficiently and courteously to customers or staff as needed
- Help with meal assembly, plating, and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Follow proper food safety protocols at all times during food preparation and service
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking supplies and rotating stock as necessary
- Support team members in various kitchen tasks to ensure smooth operation during busy hours

Experience

- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards is advantageous
- Experience with serving customers or guests is a plus




- Familiarity with the food industry and meal preparation processes will help ensure success in this role
