Overview

We are looking to find the right candidates to join us this holiday season! This is our third year back with the Christmas markets and our first year doing in Langley! In our Ideal world we would find hardworking, enthusiastic and passionate cooks.

Our Rösti's are our specialty and they take a certain finesse to get them just right. Cooking in a fast paced - outdoor kitchen takes the right kind of person - but we always ensure a fun environment. The market runs from Nov 26 - Dec 24 - Every single day!

We have split the days into day & night shifts.

Day team is normally slower for service so they prioritize a lot of prep for the night team who is basically glued to their station in order to get out mass amounts of Röstis. On top of the Cooking positions we are also hiring our F.O.H. staff who will take the orders, prep certain foods, keep the customer flow and communicating with the kitchen to make sure everything runs efficiently.

Duties

- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and timely manner
- Take customer orders accurately and relay them efficiently to the kitchen staff
- Ensure proper food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures are followed at all times




- Assist with meal presentation and plating to enhance visual appeal
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment
- Restock supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit

Experience

- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards is advantageous
- Familiarity with serving procedures and food handling regulations is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for delivering exceptional guest experiences

Expected hours: 5.0 – 40.0 per week
