Location: Suite 321, 125 Lakeshore Road East, Oakville, ON L6J 1H3. In person; no work from home option.

Permanent, full-time. 30–40 hours per week.

Pay: CAD $49–$60 per hour, depending on qualifications and relevant experience.

Responsibilities

- Assess security risks affecting the education platform, cloud systems, connected devices and student information.
- Implement and review access controls, credentials, encryption and security monitoring.
- Configure, test and operate approved security tools and monitor for threats and unauthorized activity.
- Investigate security incidents, coordinate corrective actions and test incident-response and recovery procedures.
- Document security policies, procedures, assessments and test results.
- Review vendor and system changes for security implications,



train staff in secure information handling and work with developers to resolve vulnerabilities.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in cybersecurity, computer science, information systems or a related field.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience.
- Relevant cybersecurity experience, including risk assessment, access control, monitoring and incident response. A relevant security certification is an asset.
- English, Mandarin and Cantonese are required. Proficiency in both Mandarin and Cantonese is essential for this position.
