About Local Crafters MarketLocal Crafters Market (LCM) is a curated handmade goods retailer in British Columbia, with locations in Gastown (Vancouver), Surrey, and Tsawwassen Mills (Delta). We’re growing rapid, with new stores opening in Victoria and Abbotsford, taking us from 3 to 5 locations. Our vendor community is growing with us, and we need stronger systems behind the scenes to support it.

The OpportunityWe’re looking for an Operations & Data Specialist to partner with us on building the reporting, tools, and processes that will help LCM scale. This is a project-based partnership to start, with the possibility of becoming an ongoing role as we grow.

What You’ll Do

- Build Power BI dashboards and reporting that give our team clear visibility into sales, vendor performance, and store operations across all locations
- Create tools for vendor information intake and data input, such as simple forms and structured templates that vendors and store teams can easily use
- Set up a secure system for tracking vendor banking details and payment status, organized, accurate, and protected with appropriate access controls
- Design simple, scalable processes that work consistently across all locations, new and existing
- Clean up and organize existing data, taking it from messy to structured




- Document your work and train the team, explaining systems clearly to non-technical colleagues so they can use them confidently

Who You Are
- Strong Power BI experience, and comfortable building tools others can actually use
- Background in operations, retail, or data and systems (retail experience is a plus)
- Detail-oriented, with a careful and responsible approach to sensitive information such as vendor banking and payment data
- Able to take a project from messy to organized, and explain it clearly to a non-technical team
- Comfortable working independently, managing your own timelines, and communicating progress
- Experience with tools like Excel, Google Sheets, or similar data platforms is an asset
