Position Overview

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking team member to join our bakery/deli production team. This role involves preparing and baking products, assisting customers, maintaining food safety standards, and keeping the kitchen area clean and organized.

Responsibilities

- Promptly greet and assist customers with friendly, attentive service
- Bake off products and assist with preparation of pastries, pizzas, sandwiches, and soups
- Maintain knowledge of our products and ingredients to help guide customers
- Ensure all food safety and safe food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Monitor product quality and freshness
- Refill and organize ingredients, condiments, and supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen following a clean-as-you-go approach
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate respectfully and professionally with coworkers and management




- Help control food waste and maintain efficient use of ingredients

Requirements
- Experience in a fast-paced bakery, café, kitchen, or food service environment is an asset
- Comfortable using ovens and baking off product
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Interest in quality ingredients and local food products
- Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy service periods
- Comfortable taking direction and working as part of a team
- Reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented

Job Type: Part time Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
