Pay: $23-$30 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule: Saturdays required; potential Friday hours

Location: In person, Langley, BC

Spire Dental Care Langley is looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable part-time receptionist to help our patients feel welcome and keep our front desk running smoothly.

This position offers a regular Saturday schedule, with the possibility of adding Fridays. Whether you have dental reception experience or a strong background in customer service and administration, we would love to hear from you.

What you’ll do

- Welcome patients and provide a warm, professional experience from arrival to checkout.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and text messages, and follow up on patient inquiries.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, manage appointment changes, and help fill openings.
- Collect and update patient information, medical history forms, and insurance details.
- Assist with dental insurance claims, estimates, payments, and receipts.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document significant communications.
- Coordinate with our dentists and clinical team to keep the day organized.
- Keep the reception area tidy and protect patient confidentiality.

- Consistent availability on Saturdays and reliable attendance.
- A friendly, professional manner and clear communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organized while handling several priorities.
- Confidence using computers and learning new software.
- A patient, respectful approach, including when helping someone who feels anxious about dental care.
- Someone who follows through on tasks, asks questions when needed, and works well with others.

Dental reception experience, familiarity with insurance billing, or dental administration training would be an asset, but are not required. Applicants with experience in medical reception, administration, hospitality, or customer service are welcome to apply.

About the schedule

This is a part-time position with a regular Saturday shift. Friday hours may also become available. Candidates available for Saturdays only are welcome to apply.
