We are currently seeking a Deskside Services Technician to join our team in Toronto, Ontario (CA-ON), Canada (CA).

The Deskside Services Technician will provide support and maintenance within the organization's desktop computing environment. This includes installing, diagnosing, and maintaining all desktop equipment, printers, software applications and mobile devices to ensure optimal performance. Support will be performed in person (on-site users) or via telephone/remote control (off-site users).

Position Overview

• Individuals here have a well-rounded knowledge of the policies and procedures for their work area.

- Their work may require discretion and independent judgment for non-routine matters. However, the primary focus of work activity is predominately routine.
- They desktop may make policy recommendations to their managers and be an escalation point for less experienced team members.
- Performs troubleshooting, parts replacement, systems upgrades, deployment and repair on desktops / notebooks.

- Update and resolve tickets in a timely manner to achieve Service Levels.

Position General Duties and Tasks:

- Typically requires 3-5 years relevant experience.

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Undergraduate degree or some college coursework preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating system environment.
- Solid client service skills.
- A+ desktop or equivalent skill set is required; additional certifications for various hardware platforms may be required.
- Ability to physically perform general office requirements.
- Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation.




- Travel including overnight domestic or international trips may be required.

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for Canada-based positions. The starting pay for this role is 38.50 CAD. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
