Nursing leadership and resident care define this temporary full-time Director of Care position with Optima Living. Lead clinical operations while supporting person-centered service. Reporting to the General Manager, the Director of Care oversees care delivery, quality, coordination, staffing, and budgets. The position develops care plans, guides clinical teams, and maintains regulatory compliance. It supports safe, evidence-based care for residents across Optima Living communities.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor, and guide the clinical team
- Coordinate daily routines to meet resident needs
- Develop and evaluate comprehensive resident care plans
- Oversee assessments, documentation, move-ins, and move-outs
- Investigate incidents and support quality improvement actions Requirements:
- Graduate from an approved school of nursing
- Current BCCNM license to practice
- At least one year nursing leadership experience
- Active CPR and First Aid certification
