We’re looking for a highly adaptable, commercially minded leader who sits at the intersection of Marketing, Revenue, and our enterprise partners.
This role combines strategic customer and partner leadership with marketing expertise. You’ll manage relationships with key enterprise clients, build partnership marketing opportunities, support Revenue on commercial proposals, and bring strong customer and market perspective to our marketing and product work.
You should be comfortable speaking with founders, CMOs, and senior leaders; navigating complex customer conversations; and figuring things out when there isn’t an obvious playbook. You don’t need to be a content creator — but you do need solid marketing judgment and the ability to assess, shape, and improve the work.
What You’ll Do
Enterprise Customers & Partnerships
- Serve as the senior relationship lead for key enterprise customers and strategic partners.
- Build trusted relationships with founders, CMOs, and other senior stakeholders.
- Navigate complex customer conversations, escalations, and competing priorities.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen partnerships, expand relationships, and support commercial growth.
- Build a network of champions within partner organizations.
Partnership Marketing & Revenue
- Develop partnership marketing opportunities that create value for the partners and their end-customers.
- Partner closely with Revenue on sales proposals and pitch decks
- Collaborate with Account Managers on account growth strategies and annual partner plans that drive growth for Plastic Bank and the partners.
- Bring customer and market insight into commercial opportunities and messaging.
- Provide marketing direction and judgment on customer-facing materials and creative work.
EPR & Product
- Oversee the EPR content strategy and calendar, working closely with the EPR Marketing Manager.
- Ensure EPR messaging reflects customer needs, market developments, and product positioning.
- Project manage customer communications, needs assessments, documentation, and timelines for relevant client-required audits and compliance criteria.
- Partner with internal subject matter experts (SMEs) as needed and coordinate directly with auditors to ensure requirements are understood, addressed, and completed on time.
Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop a global team of 3 Partnership Marketing Managers and the EPR Marketing Manager
- Set clear priorities, goals, and expectations while creating a collaborative, customer-focused team.
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Revenue, and Operations.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong background in marketing, combined with significant customer, client, account, or partnership experience.
- Experience managing complex relationships with enterprise customers or partners.
- Comfortable communicating with senior executives, founders, and CMOs.
- Strong understanding of marketing,
with the judgment to assess creative, messaging, and positioning — even if you aren't the person creating the assets.
- Experience in agency, partnership marketing, CPG, retail, or account management is a plus.
- Understanding of EPR, CPG, Retail or Trade Marketing is a plus.
- Adaptable, creative, and resourceful — you’re comfortable trying different things and figuring out what works.
- Strong commercial judgment and the ability to connect customer needs with business opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence navigating difficult or complex conversations.
What Success Looks Like
You build strong, trusted relationships with our largest customers and partners, help Revenue win and grow business, and bring the customer perspective back to the organization — while leading a team that gets things done.
