Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook/Dishwasher to join our dynamic kitchen team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment while assisting in food preparation and cooking. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and hospitality, with experience in restaurant or hotel settings being a plus.

Duties

- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations
- Support the serving staff by preparing plates and ensuring timely delivery of meals
- Participate in inventory management by keeping track of kitchen supplies and notifying management when restocking is needed




- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Solid cleaning skills to maintain a sanitary work environment
- Familiarity with food handling regulations and safety practices
- Excellent teamwork abilities with a focus on hospitality and customer service
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed
