Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ECE Infant Toddler Educator to join our early childhood education team in Sidney BC. This role involves creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for infants and toddlers, supporting their developmental milestones and fostering a love for learning. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, classroom experience, and a passion for working with young children.

Responsibilities Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development of infants and toddlers Foster a safe, caring, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a collaborative approach to child development Maintain accurate documentation of children's progress and daily activities Support children's individual needs, including those with disabilities or special educational requirements Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans and classroom strategies Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and licensing standards Use computer skills for record keeping, lesson planning,



and communication purposes Manage classroom routines efficiently through effective time management and organizational skills Skills Proficiency in English; bilingual in French is a strong plus Experience in childcare or early childhood education; classroom experience preferred Knowledge of child development principles and best practices for infants and toddlers Ability to work effectively with children, including those with disabilities or special needs Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members Excellent organizational skills to manage daily routines and documentation Computer operation skills for record keeping and educational planning Leadership qualities to guide children’s activities while fostering independence Writing skills for documentation and parent communication Time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities efficiently This position starts with 6 weeks of paid vacation.

Advantages are provided through Pacific Blue Cross and begin after 3 months. Pay: $24.00-$25.50 per hour
