Taymer International Incorporated is a rapidly growing innovator of Camera Inspection systems and Printing solutions for the Medical Devices and Wire & Cable industries. We currently require an enthusiastic Vision Systems Quality Technician to join our team of engineers and technicians. You will be responsible for final testing, inspection and quality documentation for our vision systems.

Education Requirements

● College level education in Engineering Technology or similar experience.

Work Experience Requirement

● 1 to 3 years of experience in electromechanical QA or assembly is an asset. New graduates welcome.

Duties and Responsibilities

● Completing final tests and software installation, including system functional checks.

● Maintaining quality assurance checklists and inventory close-out documentation.

● Recording ISO shipping documentation.

● Wiring, troubleshooting and assembling multi-camera vision systems.

● Soldering and hardware debugging.

● Communicating with engineers and management to improve and optimize the manufacturing process.

● Well organized, able to manage a variety of tasks in parallel in a manufacturing environment

Skills

● Hands-on experience in electrical wiring, cable organization and mechanical assembly is a must.





● Understanding of electrical circuits and schematics.

● Experience soldering PCB components.

● Familiarity with machine shops and power tools.

● Knowledge of Windows computer systems and software.

● Ability to communicate effectively with others including other technicians, engineers and management.

● Ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be a self-starter.

● Technical writing skills are a must.

● Experience or familiarity with quality control or inventory management is an asset.

Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
