Spark Electrical Services is hiring an experienced Residential Electrician to join our growing team for an immediate start.

We’re looking for a skilled 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice or Journeyman Electrician with solid residential experience who can work confidently and independently on residential projects.

This position is a great fit for someone who takes pride in their work, can problem-solve in the field, and knows how to keep a job moving without constant direction.

Applicants must have a minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on residential electrical experience.

About the Role

As a Residential Electrician, you’ll work on a variety of residential projects, including new construction, renovations, service upgrades, and electrical installations.

We’re looking for someone who is comfortable handling residential rough-ins, finishing, troubleshooting, and working both independently and alongside other electricians.

You’ll be expected to work efficiently, maintain high-quality workmanship, and communicate effectively with customers and the rest of the team.

Responsibilities

- Complete residential electrical installations, rough-ins, and finishing
- Work on new builds, renovations, additions, and service upgrades
- Install panels, circuits, lighting, receptacles, switches, and other electrical equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair residential electrical issues
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and plans
- Ensure installations meet electrical code and quality standards
- Work independently and manage daily tasks efficiently




- Identify issues in the field and communicate solutions
- Coordinate materials and tools required to complete work
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, contractors, and other trades
- Assist and provide direction to apprentices when needed

What We’re Looking For

- 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice or Journeyman Electrician
- Minimum 2–3 years of residential electrical experience required
- Strong understanding of residential wiring, rough-in, and finishing
- Experience with residential service upgrades and renovations is an asset
- Ability to confidently read electrical drawings and plans
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Dependable, accountable, and able to take initiative
- Valid driver's licence
- Someone who takes pride in their work and gets the job done right
