Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Server to join our energetic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a solid understanding of food and beverage service, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to deliver exceptional guest experiences while showcasing your hospitality expertise and food industry knowledge.

Previous restaurant experience, proficiency with POS systems such as Squirrel, and a commitment to food safety and sanitation are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems, including Micros POS, ensuring timely entry and processing
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Assist with food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support smooth restaurant operations
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in accordance with sanitation standards




- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables while providing excellent guest services
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience

Qualifications

- Proven food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and making change accurately
- Experience in food industry roles including serving, cashiering, or food preparation is preferred
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of the principles of hospitality and guest services is highly desirable
