We're looking for a Finance Manager who sees finance as more than accounting. Someone who understands that financial reporting should drive business decisions and not simply explain what happened last month.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll become the financial leader of the business, helping shape decisions around growth, profitability, cash flow, investments, and operational performance.

This isn't a role for someone who simply closes the books each month.

This is for someone who enjoys understanding how businesses operate, improving processes through automation and AI, and helping leaders make smarter decisions backed by meaningful financial insights.

You'll own the finance function from end to end while partnering with leadership to build a financially healthy, scalable company.

Qualifications · CPA designation preferred (or actively working toward CPA)

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business

· 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience

· Experience leading the complete accounting cycle

· Strong financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management experience

· Experience partnering directly with executive leadership

· Strong business acumen and analytical thinking

· Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills

· Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software

· Experience in a growing small-to-mid-sized business

· Experience improving business processes through automation and AI is considered a strong asset

· Analyzed client profitability and provided advice to our leadership team

· Answered a query from a client about their billing

· Changed a finance process to make it more AI native





· Explored how to improve margins on one of our revenue lines

· Looked at budget vs actual reporting to see how the company is doing against our targets

· Ensured accurate and timely financial statements

· Made a colleague laugh

How Success Is Measured

Success in this role comes from helping the business make smarter financial decisions—not simply producing accurate reports.

You will

- Deliver accurate monthly financial statements within five business days of month-end.
- Improve company profitability through insightful financial analysis.
- Maintain healthy cash flow and forecasting accuracy.
- Build reporting that helps leadership make faster, better decisions.
- Improve operational efficiency through automation and process improvements.
- Strengthen financial controls and business confidence.
- Help Techify scale responsibly and sustainably.

Compensation & Perks $110,000-140,000 CAD annually (based on experience)
