Location: Suite 321, 125 Lakeshore Road East, Oakville, ON L6J 1H3. In person; no work from home option.

Permanent, full-time. 30–40 hours per week.

Pay: CAD $63–$75 per hour, depending on qualifications and relevant experience.

Responsibilities

- Plan, organize, direct and evaluate the company’s finance and accounting function.
- Develop financial policies, reporting procedures, approval controls and budget processes.
- Prepare or coordinate financial statements, cash forecasts, management reports and course-level cost analyses.
- Manage budgets for course production, payroll, software, cloud resources and other operations; analyze variances and recommend corrective action.
- Direct and review financial and accounting work, coordinating with staff and external accounting professionals.




- Advise management on cash requirements, financial risks and the affordability of proposed investments and hiring.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, commerce, finance or a related field.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience.
- Relevant accounting, budgeting, financial planning or analysis experience, with the ability to lead financial reporting and controls. A relevant accounting designation is an asset.
- English, Mandarin and Cantonese are required. Proficiency in both Mandarin and Cantonese is essential for this position.
