We are a busy Chinese Express style restaurant located in the Willowbrook Shopping Centre food court. We are looking for an energetic and fast-paced Food Counter Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-energy environment, works well under pressure during lunch/dinner rushes, and enjoys serving customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet mall customers, take orders accurately, and process cash/card transactions on the POS system.

- Serve and portion food: Scoop and pack Chinese express combo plates (rice/noodles and entrees) efficiently with consistent portion control.

- Provide excellent customer service by explaining menu items and managing long lineups quickly.

- Restock the steam table / food display trays with fresh dishes from the kitchen.

- Maintain a clean counter, sweep the workspace, and follow daily opening/closing sanitation checklists.

Qualifications





- Valid legal status to work in Canada (Work Permit, PR, or Citizenship).

- Fluent in English to interact with customers; ability to speak Mandarin/Cantonese is a valuable asset but not required.

- Fast-paced & Energetic: Ability to multi-task and maintain speed and accuracy during high-volume mall rush hours.

- Physical Stamina: Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 20 lbs (e.g., refilling sauce buckets or food trays).

- Flexible scheduling to accommodate mall hours (including weekends).

- No prior experience required—we will provide full training for the right attitude!

Pay: $18.50-$19.00 per hour
