We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Counter Attendant to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food items, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and sanitized work environment. Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards
- Operate cash registers, handle cash and credit card transactions, and perform cashiering duties with accuracy
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and food preparation areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods
- Assist in food handling and ensure proper storage of ingredients to maintain freshness and safety standards




- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues professionally
- Support team members in various tasks as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations

Qualifications

- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Kitchen or food industry experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Basic understanding of upselling techniques to promote menu items effectively
