We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food Service Supervisor to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced food service workplace. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, excellent customer service, and a comprehensive understanding of food safety and handling. The Food Service

Supervisor will be instrumental in managing restaurant or hospitality operations, ensuring a seamless experience for guests and team members alike.

Duties

- Supervise and coordinate daily food service operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety protocols
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence
- Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling responsibilities
- Lead, train, and evaluate team members, including interviewing potential staff and providing ongoing coaching
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and promote exceptional customer service experiences




- Manage restaurant or bar operations including bartending duties or serving as needed in hospitality settings
- Support restaurant management in implementing policies, scheduling staff shifts, and maintaining operational efficiency

Qualifications

- Proven experience in food service roles such as restaurant management, bartending, barista work, or hotel hospitality
- Supervising experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities in a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS; cash handling experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
- Ability to supervise food handling procedures and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Experience in interviewing candidates and managing team performance
- Knowledge of restaurant management operations including inventory control and staff scheduling
- Hospitality background with experience in serving or hotel environments is a plus

This position offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated team within a vibrant food service environment while ensuring exceptional guest experiences through effective supervision and operational excellence. Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
