Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers, to efficiently manage inventory and facilitate warehouse operations. This role requires mechanical knowledge, attention to safety, and the ability to perform heavy lifting tasks.

The Forklift

Operator plays a vital role in maintaining smooth warehouse distribution processes and ensuring accurate order picking.

Duties

- Safely operate forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers, to move materials and products throughout the warehouse
- Load and unload goods from trucks, storage areas, and production lines
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements and update records accurately
- Perform order picking with precision to fulfill customer orders efficiently
- Conduct routine inspections of forklift equipment and perform basic maintenance or report issues promptly
- Assist with stock organization, stacking, and storage in designated areas
- Utilize basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements,



and calculations during operations
- Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a protected working environment
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse workspace

Qualifications

- Proven experience operating forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers
- Mechanical knowledge related to forklift maintenance and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes and inventory management systems
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds or more) regularly throughout shifts
- Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and calculations
- Strong attention to safety procedures and protocols in a warehouse setting
- Prior experience with order picking and warehouse management systems is preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Valid forklift certification/license is required or must be obtained upon hire

Pay: $18.09-$24.70 per hour Expected hours: 6.0 – 8.0 per week
