We are seeking a professional and personable Front Counter/Service Advisor to join our thriving transmission team. This role is vital in providing exceptional customer service, managing service appointments, and ensuring a smooth flow of operations at the front desk. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, some automotive knowledge, good computer skills, and a passion for helping customers with their vehicle needs.

Experience in transmission or automotive repair environments is preferred but not required. This position offers an engaging work environment where you can grow your skills in sales, customer service, and transmission services.

Duties

- Greet customers warmly as they arrive and assist them with check-in procedures
- Schedule service appointments and manage the flow of work through the shop
- Explain repair and maintenance services to customers clearly and professionally
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
- Coordinate with technicians to communicate customer concerns and service recommendations
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, vehicle details, and service history
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, concerns,



or complaints promptly
- Generate sales invoices on a computerized inventory system

Skills

- Previous experience or mechanic experience is highly desirable
- Good mechanical knowledge to understand vehicle repairs and maintenance options (transmission training will be provided)
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
- Proficiency in cash handling, basic administrative tasks, and organization
- Effective communication skills to explain technical information clearly to customers
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a quick-paced environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor with a positive attitude
