Dry Cleaning & Laundromat Front Desk Attendant (7-14 HRS Per Week) Must be available 1-8PM on weekdays and full-days on weekends (9-6), holidays and as needed - Starting Wage 17.95/HR - Full availability during the Winter Holidays with the exception of Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Front Desk Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our business, providing excellent customer service to our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately receive and record customer orders, including garment type, special instructions, and due dates.
- Assist with garment sorting and preparation for cleaning.
- Process payments efficiently and accurately using cash, credit cards, and other accepted methods.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding pricing, services, and order status.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
- Assist with housekeeping duties as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication and active listening skills.
- Ability to work independently and multi-task.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with POS systems.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
- Prior experience in customer service
- Prior experience in the Dry Cleaning space is seen as an advantage.
