Embark on a Geology Co-op in January 2027 with Elk Valley Resources in breathtaking British Columbia. This opportunity offers hands-on experience in geology and mining operations for 8 or 12 months.

As a Geology Co-op, you will support the identification and staking of coal seams, collect samples, and conduct geological modelling using specialized software. You will work collaboratively with departments like Engineering and Mine Operations while operating UAVs for surveys and field exploration. Your role is crucial in applying theoretical knowledge to real-world practices at EVR.

Key Responsibilities

- Participate in health and safety programs
- Identify and stake coal seams with accuracy
- Complete geophysical logging of drill holes
- Assist in geological modelling and interpretation
- Operate drones for conducting surveys

Requirements:
- Enrolled in an Undergraduate program in Geology
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently
- Robust communication skills across various levels
- Willing to work outdoors and in diverse conditions
