This temporary part-time Health Care Aide works within the care team under Licensed Practical Nurse supervision. The position delivers thorough basic care and services, follows care plans, applies routine treatments, and supports residents throughout the facility. Work takes place in Chestermere, Alberta.

Key Responsibilities:

- Bathed, showered, and washed residents following care procedures
- Assisted transfers using ceiling lifts, mechanical lifts, and transfer belts
- Fed residents and followed appropriate diets from care plans
- Provided routine treatments under Staff Nurse direction
- Escorted residents to meals, therapy, recreation, and social functions

Requirements:

- Recognized Personal Care Aide or Health Care Aide certificate
- Active registration with CLHA
- Fluent English communication, orally and in writing
- One year continuing care experience preferred
- Post-secondary education considered an asset
