Job Summary

Seeking responsible, good natured Household Assistants / Care Aides to assist a handicapped snd support to assist a senior disabled man with light household and home support duties. for a recovering senior amputee. May include light cooking and meal prep.T light household and personal home support duties on a regular basis, to promote comfort, safety, and well-being. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness.

Experience in caregiving, nursing, or senior care is highly valued but not required. Having a vehicle is preferred.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as household duties including some light cooking
- Perform some meal prep and light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being




- Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to family membersRequirements
- Knowledge senior care best practices is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as needed
- Strong caregiving skills with patience, empathy, and professionalism
- Certification or training in medication administration is a plus but not mandatory
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a compassionate manner
- Flexibility to adapt to varying client needs and schedules
- Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent care
- Personal vehicle transportation is preferred
