We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping/Laundry Attendant to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional cleaning and laundry services, contributing to a welcoming environment for all visitors.
Prior hotel experience is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn and grow within our hospitality team.
Duties
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces according to established standards
- Change bed linens, towels, and replenish supplies as needed
- Operate laundry equipment to wash, dry, fold, and organize linens and towels efficiently
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed promptly and thoroughly to uphold hygiene standards
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe work environment
- Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and laundry materials
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and guest service at all times
Skills
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of laundry procedures and cleaning techniques
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform tasks efficiently and thoroughly
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a rapid-paced environment
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks with accuracy
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required
