We’re Hiring: In-House Graphic Designer

Better Print is looking for an experienced graphic designer to join our busy print and sign shop. If you combine strong creative skills with practical print production knowledge—and can deliver accurate work efficiently—we’d like to hear from you.

You’ll work on a wide variety of print and signage projects, taking files from initial concept or customer-supplied artwork through to production-ready files.

What you’ll do

- Create original designs for print materials and signage.
- Modify customer artwork and update existing designs.
- Prepare clear, accurate proofs for customer approval.
- Identify and troubleshoot file issues, including resolution, fonts, colour, sizing and bleed.
- Handle prepress and prepare production-ready files.
- Work closely with our sales and production teams to keep jobs moving and meet deadlines.
- Explore and apply AI tools to improve design workflows, reduce repetitive work and increase efficiency while maintaining quality.

What you’ll bring
- Hands-on experience preparing files for professional printing.
- In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, with strong proficiency in Illustrator.



Photoshop and InDesign skills are also important.
- A solid understanding of print setup, including bleed, colour modes, vector and raster artwork, fonts and PDF preparation.
- Robust creative design, typography and layout skills.
- The ability to work quickly, manage competing priorities and maintain close attention to detail.
- A practical approach to solving problems and clear communication with teammates.
- A willingness to embrace AI, learn new tools and suggest better ways of working.
