Kipohtakaw Education Centre, under the jurisdiction of Alexander First Nation Education (AFNE) is located 40 minutes northwest of Edmonton or 20 minutes northwest of St. Albert. We are a K-12 school with just over 300 students with a strong focus on Cree language and cultural programming. We are looking to hire a full time substitute teacher until the end of June that will cover various classes and grades.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education.
- Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate or Interim Professional Certificate
- Experience working with Indigenous communities is an asset.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in special education settings is preferred.
Pay: $68,850.00-$104,000.00 per year
