Overview

KTI Utility Services Inc. is seeking contractors (such as plumbing, excavation, landscaping, and irrigation specialists) for an ongoing initiative in Langley, BC. In this subcontracted role, you will complete water meter pit and water meter installations. While direct meter pit experience is an asset, transferable backgrounds in excavation, utility services, or irrigation translate exceptionally well.

Comprehensive job-specific technical training will be provided to all qualified partners. This engagement is tailored for our Langley project, with future regional opportunities available across the Lower Mainland and British Columbia.

Key Responsibilities

- Retrieve required equipment, inventory, and daily work orders prior to field deployment
- Perform protected excavation of meter pits, tie into existing water lines, and install new water meters and associated components in compliance with project specifications




- Complete thorough and professional restoration of disturbed lawns, hardscapes, and excavation zones to pristine standards
- Accurately record measurements, equipment serial numbers, and site documentation using handheld mobile field devices
- Adhere strictly to corporate Health and Safety guidelines, municipal job-site protocols, and traffic control procedures
- Conduct quality self-inspections on all completed installations to ensure zero-defect standards

Qualifications

- Proven background in water meter pit installation, or transferable experience in excavation, plumbing, utility services, or irrigation installation
- Highly motivated and reliable operator capable of maintaining a consistent, full-time schedule
- Ownership and operation of a reliable vehicle/truck suitable for equipment transport, tool storage, and site mobility
