Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Industrial Millwright Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and electrical expertise, with experience in industrial maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex machinery. This role involves maintaining, repairing, and optimizing manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth operations and minimal downtime.

Candidates should have a solid understanding of schematics, PLCs, CMMS systems, and low voltage electrical systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer service mindset are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment, including HVAC, boilers, welding systems, and electrical components.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues using schematics and analysis skills.
- Operate and program programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to optimize machine performance.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues before failures occur; perform necessary adjustments or replacements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and parts inventory.
- Assist with installation of new equipment and upgrades in accordance with safety standards.
- Follow safety protocols related to low voltage systems, electrical work, and industrial environments.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure productive plant operations.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs promptly and professionally.

Requirements

- Proven experience in industrial maintenance or as a millwright mechanic within manufacturing settings.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in schematics interpretation and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience working with PLCs, CMMS systems, low voltage electrical systems, HVAC units, boilers, welding equipment, and general electrical experience.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and mechanical drawings effectively.
- Knowledge of industrial electrician practices and safety standards.
- Excellent analysis skills for diagnosing complex machinery issues quickly and accurately.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and collaboration.
- Relevant certifications or training in industrial electrician work, welding, are preferred.

This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse industrial systems within a dynamic environment while utilizing your technical expertise to ensure operational excellence. Pay: From $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 47.5 per week

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

- SMAW: 2 years (preferred)
