Our client, a large, complex global organization, is seeking an IT Auditor to join its Internal Audit team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technology risk and controls professional looking to gain exposure to a diverse IT environment, enterprise-wide initiatives, and senior business stakeholders.

The successful candidate will play a key role in evaluating the effectiveness of IT controls, identifying risk exposures, and supporting compliance and governance initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute IT General Controls (ITGC) and IT Application Controls (ITAC) audits across various systems and business processes
- Assess the effectiveness of cybersecurity, access management, change management, backup and recovery, and business continuity controls
- Prepare clear and well-supported audit documentation and working papers
- Analyze control deficiencies, identify root causes, and provide practical recommendations for improvement
- Support internal control, compliance, and risk management initiatives
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to business and technology stakeholders
- Monitor remediation activities and validate corrective actions
- Build collaborative relationships across finance, IT, cybersecurity, and operational teams

Qualifications




- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline
- 3+ years of experience in IT Audit, IT Risk, Technology Advisory, Cybersecurity Audit, or a related field
- Experience performing ITGC and ITAC testing within a public company, consulting firm, or complex enterprise environment
- Strong understanding of IT control frameworks such as COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001, and IIA standards
- Professional designation such as CISA preferred; CPA, CIA, CISSP, CRISC, or similar certifications are considered strong assets
- Excellent analytical, communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience supporting SOX compliance programs is considered an asset
