Location: Suite 321, 125 Lakeshore Road East, Oakville, ON L6J 1H3. In person; no remote work option.

Permanent, full time. 30–40 hours per week.

Pay: CAD $68–$80 per hour, depending on qualifications and relevant experience.

MILTON EDU provides online courses, educational content and technology-supported learning services.

Responsibilities

- Plan, direct and evaluate the development and operation of MILTON EDU’s online education and student-management systems.
- Set technology priorities, project plans, operating procedures and service standards in consultation with management and academic staff.
- Manage project budgets, cloud and computing expenditure, vendor relationships and implementation schedules.
- Assign, supervise and review technical work; recruit and support the development of technical personnel as required.
- Oversee platform integration, reliability, backups and recovery planning,



and coordinate with the Cybersecurity Specialist on risk controls.
- Report project progress, system performance, costs and resource needs to management.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business administration or a related field.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience.
- Relevant systems development or operations experience, including supervisory or project leadership responsibilities. Ability to manage budgets, technical personnel and delivery plans.
- English, Mandarin and Cantonese are required. Proficiency in both Mandarin and Cantonese is essential for this position.
