Our Client is seeking an Intermediate Software Developer with 5+ years of experience developing enterprise or public-facing applications using Java. The successful candidate will support the development, testing, integration, deployment, and maintenance of cloud-based microservices and enterprise applications within Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, configure, test, and maintain Java application components.

- Build and maintain cloud-based microservices in Microsoft Azure.

- Develop user interfaces, APIs, integration services, and database components.

- Translate technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria into functional application code.

- Create, execute, and maintain automated unit tests.

- Troubleshoot defects and support system, integration, and user acceptance testing.

- Participate in code reviews and implement recommended improvements.

- Support CI/CD processes, deployments, configuration management, and application maintenance.

- Apply secure coding standards, accessibility guidelines, and application performance best practices.

- Maintain technical documentation and implementation records.

- Collaborate with developers, architects, business analysts, and QA teams.





- Provide development estimates, progress updates, and escalate technical issues.

Must-Have Qualifications

- Minimum 5 years of experience developing complex enterprise or public-facing applications.

- Solid Java application development experience.

- Experience implementing user interfaces, APIs, services, integrations, and database components.

- Experience developing and deploying applications in cloud-based environments, particularly Microsoft Azure.

- Experience with APIs, integration patterns, automated deployment, and configuration management.

- Experience developing automated tests for user interfaces, APIs, and databases.

- Knowledge of object-oriented programming, Agile methodologies, and SDLC.

- Experience with source control, code reviews, debugging, and technical documentation.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

- Experience supporting Azure-based microservices.

- Knowledge of application security, accessibility, and performance optimization.

- Previous enterprise or government application development experience.
