Investment Banking Vice President / Junior Director | Power, Infrastructure & Renewables | Toronto An elite boutique investment bank is looking to appoint a Vice President or Junior Director to join its highly regarded Power, Infrastructure & Renewables team in Toronto.

The team advises on a broad range of high-profile transactions across the Americas, leveraging an extensive network of established institutional relationships to generate a strong pipeline of M&A; and strategic advisory mandates.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced investment banking professional to join a leading franchise, taking on a senior role with significant exposure to client relationship management, business development, and transaction execution across the Power, Infrastructure & Renewables sectors.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive the origination and development of new advisory mandates, with a particular focus on M&A; across the Power, Infrastructure & Renewables sectors.
- Lead the execution of complex transactions, overseeing key workstreams from initial client engagement through to completion.
- Build and maintain senior-level client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the transaction process.
- Oversee the development and review of financial models, valuation analyses, marketing materials, and client presentations.
- Mentor and develop junior team members,



maintaining high standards of analytical rigor and execution excellence.
- Work closely with senior bankers to strengthen existing client relationships, identify current business opportunities, and deliver outstanding client outcomes.

Requirements

- A minimum of 5+ years of investment banking experience without an MBA, or 2+ years of post-MBA experience .
- A Bachelor's degree or MBA in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrable transaction experience across the Energy, Power, Infrastructure, or Renewables sectors.
- Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical capabilities.
- Proven ability to manage complex transaction workstreams independently while collaborating effectively within a global team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client relationship management skills.
