Pund-IT Inc. is looking for an IT Support Technician to join our team in Kitchener, Ontario.

As a Managed IT Services Provider (MSP), we support businesses across a variety of industries, providing IT support, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, and infrastructure management.

What You'll Be Doing

- Provide remote, phone, email, and on-site technical support to business clients.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and Microsoft 365 issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, servers, network equipment, and peripherals.
- Administer and support Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Active Directory, and Windows environments.
- Assist with server, network, cloud, and system migration projects.
- Proactively monitor client systems, perform maintenance, and troubleshoot alerts.
- Support cybersecurity solutions, backups, patch management, and disaster recovery.
- Manage service tickets, document technical work, and maintain accurate time entries using ConnectWise Manage.
- Work collaboratively with team members to resolve issues and deliver excellent client service.
- Follow Pund-IT's established IT service, security, and documentation procedures.
- Participate in a paid, rotating on-call emergency support schedule.

What We're Looking For

- Hands-on experience providing IT technical support.




- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize requests, and work independently.
- A team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Ability to work from our Kitchener office for the first three months, followed by a hybrid schedule.
- Availability to participate in an on-call rotation.
- Valid Ontario driver's license with a driving record acceptable under the company's vehicle insurance policy, and willingness to travel to client locations using a company-provided vehicle.

Nice to Have Experience in any of the following would be an asset:

- Working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP).
- ConnectWise Manage or other PSA/RMM tools.
- Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, Intune, or SharePoint.
- Windows Server, VMware, or Hyper-V.
- Network infrastructure, firewalls, and cybersecurity solutions.
- Backup and disaster recovery systems.
- IT infrastructure projects and migrations.
- Relevant IT certifications or post-secondary education.
