Role Description The Junior Copywriter is a full-time, on-site role based in St. Catharines, ON. In this position, the Junior Copywriter crafts clear, engaging copy for digital channels, including website pages, product descriptions, blog posts, marketing campaigns, and customer communications.

Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and editing content, proofreading for accuracy and consistency, and aligning messaging with brand guidelines and marketing objectives. The role also involves adapting complex concepts into accessible, customer-focused language.

The Junior

Copywriter is expected to contribute ideas, meet deadlines,



and maintain a high standard of quality across all written materials.

Qualifications

- Strong writing and proofreading skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and error-free copy.
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and interpret feedback.
- Experience or interest in marketing with the ability to support promotional campaigns and brand messaging.
- Familiarity with digital content practices, such as writing for web and basic understanding of SEO principles.
- Post-secondary education in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Comfort working on-site in a collaborative office environment in St. Catharines, ON.
- Experience in eCommerce, SaaS, or technology-focused businesses is an asset.
