About Impactt Corporation

Impactt Corporation is a general contractor delivering institutional, commercial, industrial and civil infrastructure projects across the Greater Toronto Area. We are COR-certified and bid on public-sector and owner-led work where safety performance, accurate pricing and disciplined execution decide who wins. Our estimating team is growing, and we are looking for a Junior Estimator who wants to build a career in pre-construction with a team that will invest in their development.

The role

Reporting to the Senior Estimator, you will support the full bid cycle on ICI and civil projects, from tender review through quantity takeoff, subcontractor pricing and final bid assembly. You will work on live tenders from day one, with direct mentorship and a clear path toward running your own estimates.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Review tender documents, drawings and specifications to understand project scope and bid requirements
- Perform quantity takeoffs for civil, structural, architectural and site-works scopes
- Solicit, log and compare subcontractor and supplier quotations; follow up to close pricing gaps
- Build and maintain bid schedules, bid forms and estimate summaries
- Attend site visits and pre-bid meetings; document site conditions and constraints
- Prepare COR-related bid submissions, including safety documentation, prequalification packages and compliance checklists
- Assist with value-engineering options and alternate pricing
- Support handover of awarded projects to the project management team
- Maintain the estimating database of historical unit costs and subcontractor contacts

Requirements for Applicants




- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering Technology, Construction Management or a related field
- 1–3 years of estimating or construction-related experience with a general contractor or civil contractor (co-op and internship experience counts)
- Experience on at least one project delivered under COR (Certificate of Recognition) certification, or hands-on exposure to COR safety documentation and prequalification requirements
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and civil drawings
- Working knowledge of takeoff and estimating software such as Bluebeam Revu, On-Screen Takeoff, ProEst or HeavyBid; strong Excel skills
- Familiarity with CCDC contracts, Ontario public tendering (MERX, Bids&Tenders;) and the Ontario Building Code is an asset
- Strong attention to detail, organization and follow-through under tender deadlines
- Valid Ontario G driver's licence and ability to travel to GTA job sites
