Responsibilities:

- Conceptualize and sketch design plans.

- Discuss design revisions and material selections with clients based on their feedback and requirements.

- Determine project costs and requirements during the budgeting phase.

- Establish timelines for the completion of interior design projects.

- Source materials and products included in design plans.

- Create mood boards to present design concepts.

- Utilize computer applications in the design process.

- Inspect completed designs to ensure client objectives and expectations have been met.

Language:

- Proficiency in English for workplace communication.

- Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese is required to independently communicate with clients regarding design requirements, floor plan revisions, and material selections.

Requirements:

- Portfolio of previous design work.





- Experience with North American residential design and renovation/construction projects.

- Project management experience.

- Experience with computational design.

- Robust creativity, imagination, and artistic abilities.

- Excellent communication skills, particularly in presenting design concepts and ideas to clients.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Illustrator, SketchUp, or similar design software.

Experience:

- Construction Service: 3 years (preferred)

- Residential Interior Design: 3 years (required)

- Familiarity with Ontario Building Code (OBC) and local residential design and construction practices (preferred)

Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
