Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Kitchen Helper/Cook to join our culinary team. This role involves assisting with food preparation, cooking, and food service to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, a strong understanding of food safety practices, and experience in the food industry. Responsibilities

- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and standards
- Cook and serve dishes, ensuring quality and presentation meet restaurant guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are upheld
- Support the team during busy service hours by serving customers efficiently and courteously




- Help with inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying management of shortages or expired items
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and sanitation policies at all times

Requirements

- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
- Understanding of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Robust teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required
- Food industry or restaurant experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate

Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 per week
