About Us
We are a full-service landscape construction company. We specialize in retaining walls, paving stones, gardens, landscape lighting, water features, cedar fences, work structures, and real and artificial turf. Our maintenance division takes care of residential and commercial stratas in need of weekly maintenance, and when winter rolls around, we're there to help your strata property with salting and snow removal.
Role Purpose
Manage, organize and train site foremen while coordinating multiple projects so crews understand the work, stay productive, avoid preventable mistakes and complete projects correctly, efficiently and on time.
Role Overview
This position combines elements of project management, field supervision and foreman training. The title is less important than the responsibility: keeping foremen, crews and active projects organized, accountable and moving forward. The role is primarily leadership and coordination, with hands-on involvement where it adds value for training, teaching or specific projects.
Core Responsibilities
1 | Job Planning & Project Handoff
· Work closely with the estimator, who will provide project details, scope and expected timelines for upcoming jobs.
· Take that information to the site foreman and make sure they clearly understand what needs to be done, the priorities and the expected timeline.
· Get the foreman organized at the start of the project, including materials, tools, sequencing and crew priorities.
2 | Project Oversight, Quality & Execution
· Monitor active projects from start through completion and make sure the work is being completed correctly.
· Keep projects organized, efficient and on schedule.
· Stay involved throughout the project so issues are caught early and preventable mistakes or rework are minimized.
· Answer questions and provide additional support on difficult or complex projects.
· Arrange and coordinate required materials and tools.
· Coordinate with subcontractors as required.
3 | Foreman Leadership & Training
· Manage and support 3 site foremen initially, with more expected as the team grows.
· Train foremen on how to plan, organize and manage their teams effectively.
· Make sure foremen stay on task and know how to keep their own crews on task.
· Set expectations, follow up and hold foremen accountable for organization, efficiency, quality and timelines.
· Provide hands-on teaching or demonstrations when required. This is not intended to be primarily a physical labour position, but hands-on involvement may be necessary for training and development.
4 | Multi-Site Coordination & Time Management
· Move between job sites and manage priorities across multiple active projects.
· Initially coordinate approximately 2 to 5 projects at a time.
· Prioritize effectively when several sites or foremen need support at the same time.
· Maintain strong personal organization, efficiency and follow-through while handling changing priorities.
5 | Systems, Workflow & Reviews
· Work with the estimator and admin/HR person to develop practical workflow forms, documents and systems for the team.
· Help establish clear, repeatable workflows and expectations that keep projects and people organized.
· Help facilitate and participate in reviews and ongoing feedback for foremen.
6 | Winter Operations
· Work jointly with the estimator to organize snow-clearing and salting teams during the winter season.
· Help coordinate crews and make sure teams are dispatched to clear snow and salt when weather and site conditions require service.
· Conduct site visits as needed to assess whether conditions require servicing.
· Help keep winter operations organized and efficient during snow and ice events.
Initial Scope at a Glance
· Foremen: 3 initially, with more as the team grows.
· Concurrent projects: Approximately 2 to 5 initially.
· Work environment: Multiple active job sites and regular movement between locations.

Project Management & Field Responsibilities
