Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Maintenance Worker / Crew Member to join our outdoor maintenance team. This role involves maintaining and enhancing residential and commercial landscapes through various horticultural and construction tasks. Responsibilities

- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to ensure healthy and attractive landscapes
- Operate various power tools including trimmers, blowers, and lawn mowers safely and efficiently
- Use hand tools and mechanical equipment for planting, soil preparation, and landscape installation
- Assist with irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns
- Conduct excavation work using equipment like excavators for larger landscaping projects or site preparation
- Support construction activities such as installing hardscapes, retaining walls, or other landscape features




- Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris and ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Perform routine equipment inspections and basic mechanical maintenance to keep tools in optimal condition

Qualifications

- Prior experience with landscaping, gardening, or horticulture is preferred but not required; training will be provided for specific tasks
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices including pruning, planting, and soil care
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating power tools and small machinery such as excavators or irrigation systems
- Construction experience is a plus for assisting with site development projects
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and construction projects
- Robust attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for transporting equipment or materials between sites
