iWash Solutions builds a multi-tenant SaaS platform for car wash operators. The platform covers point of sale, memberships and recurring billing, customer management, marketing automation, and related operational features.

About the Role

We are hiring a Lead Developer to take technical ownership of the platform: the back-end API, the BackOffice admin portal, the POS and the migration from our legacy system. You will write code every day while also setting technical direction, reviewing the team’s work, and preparing the platform for production. You will work closely with the product owner and a team of developers.

Our Stack

- Back end: .NET 10 / ASP.NET Core Web API, Clean Architecture, CQRS with MediatR, Entity Framework Core, Dapper, Hangfire, SignalR, JWT auth
- Database: Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, large data migrations)
- Front end: Angular 21 (standalone components, signals, RxJS)
- Integrations: Payment terminals and processors, receipt printers, and related operational systems
- Testing & tooling: xUnit, Vitest, Karma/Jasmine, Playwright, Testcontainers, Docker, Git/GitHub
- AI-assisted development: Team uses tools such as Claude Code and Cursor daily

What You’ll Do

- Own the architecture and code quality of the API, BackOffice and POS
- Lead and mentor developers: review pull requests, break down work, set coding standards, and unblock the team
- Build and maintain features across the stack, including memberships, recurring billing, POS transactions, customer management, B2B/fleet accounts, reporting, and marketing
- Lead the legacy-to-SaaS data migration: SQL Server ETL, data mapping, reconciliation, dry runs, and cutover planning for operators moving onto the new platform
- Own payment and related integrations and work with vendors when issues arise
- Drive production readiness: deployments, environment setup, monitoring and logging, performance tuning, security, and PCI-conscious payment handling
- Keep technical debt under control and turn product specs into technical plans the team can deliver
- Ensure architecture docs, runbooks,



and specs stay accurate

Requirements

- 5+ years of professional full-stack development, with at least 1–2 years leading developers or owning a product’s technical direction
- Strong C# and ASP.NET Core experience, including Entity Framework Core and REST API design
- Strong SQL Server skills: schema design, T-SQL, stored procedures, query tuning, and moving large data sets
- Solid experience with a recent version of Angular (components, RxJS, ideally signals) and TypeScript
- Experience with multi-tenant SaaS or similarly complex business applications
- Familiarity with Clean Architecture, CQRS/MediatR, or similar patterns
- Habit of writing automated tests and reviewing code carefully
- Clear communication with both technical and non-technical people
- Able to work in person in Toronto, full-time

Nice to Have

- Experience with POS systems, payment gateways or terminals, or PCI compliance
- Experience migrating a legacy system to a new platform
- Experience with Capacitor, Ionic, or other hybrid mobile apps (iOS/Android); Flutter is a plus
- Experience with Docker, Linux servers, Nginx, and production deployments and monitoring
- Comfortable with AI coding tools and reviewing AI-generated code

What We Offer
