Lead Installer – Sunrooms, Pergolas & Patio Enclosures

Edmonton, AB | Full-time

$30–$44.50/hour + Company Vehicle + Benefits + RRSP Matching

Solaris Canada is looking for an experienced, hands-on installer to lead residential outdoor living projects across Edmonton.

If your background includes sunrooms, patio enclosures, pergolas, windows and doors, decks, or residential renovations, we’d like to hear from you. Bring your installation skills, attention to detail and ability to run a job—we’ll provide training on our products.

With over 25 years in business, Solaris installs premium outdoor living systems, including aluminum pergolas, patio covers, glass enclosures, awnings and motorized screens.

The role

You’ll take ownership of your assigned installations from start to finish, working alongside a helper. This is a working lead position: you’ll be on the tools, solving installation challenges and delivering a clean, professional finished product.

What you’ll do

- Lead installations of aluminum pergolas, patio covers, sliding glass enclosure systems, awnings and motorized screens.
- Confirm site measurements, establish layouts and elevations, and interpret installation drawings and manufacturer instructions.
- Assemble, level, align and securely fasten framing, tracks, panels and hardware.
- Work through installation challenges on existing homes, including uneven surfaces and out-of-square conditions.
- Plan the day’s work, guide your helper and keep installations moving efficiently.
- Maintain a tidy job site and communicate professionally with homeowners.
- Document progress and flag site conditions, missing materials or issues requiring support.
- Check operation, fit and finish before completing each project.

What you bring
- 4+ years of relevant installation or residential construction experience, with the ability to complete projects independently.
- Experience in one or more of the following: sunrooms, solariums,

patio enclosures, pergolas, patio covers, window and door installation, deck building, or residential carpentry.
- Strong measurement, layout and problem-solving skills.
- Confidence using power tools, levels and laser levels.
- Experience leading a helper or coordinating a small installation crew.
- Attention to alignment, sealing, hardware adjustment and finished appearance.
- Comfort working outdoors, on ladders and at heights.
- Ability to safely handle materials weighing up to 80 lbs.
- A valid driver’s licence.

Experience with aluminum framing, glazing systems or motorized exterior products is an asset. Product-specific training is provided.

What we offer

- $30–$44.50/hour, based on experience.
- Company vehicle for Edmonton-area projects.
- Opportunity for overtime.
- Extended health, dental and vision benefits.
- RRSP matching and a performance bonus program.
- Two weeks of vacation plus paid personal days.
- $500 Health Spending Account.
