Full Opportunity Brief Contextual Overview Arcadis , a global leader delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions, is seeking a high-performing and ambitious Legal Counsel to join its Canadian in-house legal team. Reporting to the Legal Director – Canada, this role focuses on supporting major infrastructure, construction, and engineering projects across Canada.

Key Eligibility Criteria

3 to 6 years of post-call experience in private practice and/or an in-house legal role.

Licensed to practice law in Ontario, Alberta, or another Canadian province.

Experience supporting commercial, construction, infrastructure, engineering, or professional services matters.

Familiarity with alternative delivery contracting models (e.g., PDB, Alliancing) is preferred.





Responsibilities & Scope of Work

Provide comprehensive commercial legal support during the pursuit, negotiation, and delivery of complex contracts (such as Design-Build-Finance and Target Cost Contracts).

Offer proactive guidance on legal and contractual risks to project and bid teams.

Partner with business leaders to align legal strategies with business objectives.

Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to avoid contractual disputes and support claims management with external counsel.

Stipend, Compensation & Mode Base Salary Range: CAD 150,000 - 175,000 (Actual salaries vary based on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).

Mode: Full time, flexible location across any Canadian Arcadis office.
